I’ve been teaching Physical Education for a little over 20 years. Most of those years have been at Saddle Rock. It has been quite rewarding to see the children grow and develop their skills throughout the years. Some of my favorite moments are when I catch up with alumni and we share stories from both past and present.

 

Throughout my career I have coached basketball, volleyball and softball. I was a long time member of the Nassau County Officials Association in the sports of … basketball, soccer and track & field.

 

Little known facts: I played 1st clarinet in the Queens Boro band as a middle school student and I love hiking & ziplining. 

 

 

 

 

Music:  I enjoy Top 40 and classic rock

TV shows : The Voice, the cooking channel and definitely “shark week.”

Favorite food: Italian, sushi

Pets: As a child I had fish, parakeets and baby turtles and now I have a brown Chihuahua named Charlie Brown.

Classics: Wizard of Oz, Wuthering Heights

Favorite Teams: Tennessee Lady Vols and UConn Huskies Basketball teams, NY Jets and the Mets

 

Leisure time: Bicycling, archery, Broadway plays, gardening, spending time with family & friends and anything outdoors.
